Children & Youth

Sunday Mornings for Children

Children of all ages are welcome at St. Elisabeth’s, and invited as full participants in our worship and programs.

​

Sunday School for Children is offered every Sunday after the 10AM service, and young people of all ages are invited to participate. A Christian Education program for adults is offered concurrently.

​

We are also pleased to offer a Soft Space in the church for young children and their parents to use during worship services.

​

Older children participate as Acolytes, Choristers, Readers, and Ushers in order to learn more about their church and their faith.​

Confirmation

Confirmation is the rite through which an individual expresses a mature commitment to Christ and receives strength from the Holy Spirit through prayer and the laying on of hands by a bishop. It is a reaffirmation of the promises and faith adopted at baptism. If you or your child feel called to confirmation, we invite you to contact our church office to schedule a meeting with our rector.

    St Elisabeth's is partnering with St Augustine's in Wilmette, to provide shelter and food to families experiencing homelessness the week of May 3-9. Please contact Robert Fischer to volunteer to assist by providing meals or overnight coverage.
