Sunday Mornings:
Without an applicant for our Coordinator of Children’s, Youth, and Family Ministries position, we have been exploring the ways we can creatively continue to offer children’s formation on Sunday mornings. Several church parents, led by Diedre McClurg and Carrie Miller-Mygatt, have volunteered to help lead programming on Sundays, utilizing the “Shine” curriculum.

Children can gather beginning at 9:45 am for a time of soft gathering – coloring, visiting, reading, etc. Formation will begin at 10:00 am in the upstairs classroom, and will continue until around 10:40 am, when the children and leaders will join the rest of the congregation in the church for Holy Communion.

Wednesday Evenings:
Kids of all ages are invited to join Dillon on Wednesday evenings for a discussion centered on the week’s Bible readings, learning about the sacraments, praying together, as well as singing and sharing other fun activities. We will gather at 7:00 pm, after Evening Prayer and the Community Potluck Supper. This time will replace the “Family Chapel” we have had via Zoom during the past year and a half.

Dillon and Adam are also in the process of developing a time for our older youth to meet online, sharing in biblical discussion and spiritual application to our lives, as well as beginning confirmation discussions and modules for those who may be interested in this sacrament of the church. Let us know if you are someone who may be interesting in joining us for this time of gathering together and learning about our faith.
