Welcome to St. Elisabeth’s 2020 Search Committee page. Our committee includes Carla Arnell, Tasker Generes, Hall Healy, Carrie Mygatt, Kay Rossiter, Adrienne Zimmerman and Co-Chairs Leslie Alter and Susan Newcomb. The group began their work in early October 2019. The committee’s purpose is to search for and select a new full-time rector.
While the coronavirus has thrown us a curveball, we are still actively engaged in the search process and expect it to be completed later in 2020. Our initial activity was to gather your input through small group sessions regarding St. E’s strengths, future direction and wishes for the next rector. We then incorporated that feedback into the communication documents that comprise the job listing for potential candidates to explore. The search process has given the committee members the chance to get to know each other, and the Parish, better. It also has given everyone at St. E’s an opportunity to see how much we share the same values, including a strong appreciation for tradition, while at the same time being open to trying new things.
