Holy Baptism is the sacrament by which God adopts us as God’s beloveds and makes us members of Christ’s Body, the Church, and inheritors of the kingdom of God.

In the Episcopal Church, Baptism is offered on feast days during the year at regular morning worship. Our principal feast days are:

  • Easter Day
  • Ascension Day
  • The Day of Pentecost
  • Trinity Sunday
  • All Saints’ Day, November 1
  • Christmas Day, December 25
  • The Epiphany, January 6

Adult candidates and their sponsors, or parents and godparents who come seeking baptism for their infants and children, are asked to meet with the priest and attend two baptismal preparation sessions prior to Baptism day. There are no fees. We encourage you to consider selecting a church community to be part of, be it here or elsewhere, to help foster and uphold the baptized-person in their life in Christ.
